Purple Salsa is based in Wokingham and tries to teach salsa in a fun way which everyone can enjoy. So, if you're interested in learning to dance, having fun, meeting new people in a friendly atmosphere, or maybe just getting a bit fitter, we hope that Purple Salsa can help.
 
Don't worry if you think you've got two left feet - anyone can learn salsa, and we encourage you to take your time and enjoy yourself. The dancing will soon follow!
 
We have classes near Wokingham every Friday which are open to all, no matter what your dancing experience. Just turn up - we have a new 'absolute beginners' class every week. And there's no need to come with a partner. We also sometimes run social events (for anyone who would like a bit more time to practise what they’ve learnt!), and workshops/short courses (for brushing up various skills, or learning some new ones!).

Regular classes
Friday nights (at the Pinewood Centre):

• Weekly classes
• 7.45-8.30pm Absolute Beginners and Intermediates salsa classes
• 8.45-9.30pm Beginners and Improvers salsa classes
• 9.30-11pm general dancing

Thursday nights (at the Pinewood Centre):

• 8-9pm beginners rueda class (for improvers (and above) level salsa dancers)
• 9-9.30pm practice time
• Monthly - first Thursday of every month
• Dates for 2008: 10th Jan (NB NOT 4th!), 7th Feb, 6th Mar, 3rd Apr, 1st May, 5th Jun, 3rd July
