Below you will find details of our regular Friday classes (we also run one-off social events and workshops/short courses if you're looking for something a bit different!). Our weekly classes run every Friday and are open to all levels of dancer (click here to find out more about what we cover). You can turn up any week - there are new 'absolute beginners' classes every Friday. And there's no need to bring a partner!

Absolute Beginners (level 0)	7:45 - 8:30pm
For people who've never done any salsa before, or who want to recap the basics.
Beginners (level 1)	8:45 - 9:30pm
For people who are happy with the basic steps, and are getting to grips with the rhythm.
Improvers (level 2)	8:45 - 9:30pm
For people who know the basic steps and are confident with the salsa rhythm, cross body lead and the basic turns.
Intermediates (level 3)	7:45 - 8:30pm
For people who are confident with the salsa rhythm, cross body lead and the basic turns, and have a good grounding in the ‘Improver’ level moves - come and see us (or email) if you are thinking about starting this class.
General dancing	9:30 - 11pm
Stay on and enjoy the dancing after the classes! This is a great time to practise and to have fun with what you've learned, or to chat and have a well earned drink!

The classes cost just £6, no matter which you want to do, and the general dancing is free if you come to a class (£3 for general dancing only).
 
For example:

• Absolute Beginners + Beginners + general dancing = £6
• Improvers + general dancing = £6
• General dancing only = £3

Our Friday classes are held at Wokingham Without Community Association Village Hall (click here for details and directions). There is plenty of parking at the venue, and a bar which is open 7-11pm.
 
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and it's best (although not essential) to avoid trainers and sandals as these are much harder to dance in. And flip flops are near impossible! See more about salsa for other general information.
